CAMERON CLARKE BAppSc, MBA
Part Owner & Managing Director
Cameron has an extensive background in agronomy, agribusiness management and management consulting.
He has held senior roles with leading Australian fertiliser, animal health and agrichemical companies, with demonstrated success driving growth and profitability.

BILL FULLER BAgrSc, GDipBus, MBA, MAICD
Part Owner & Executive Director
Bill is currently the part time CEO of the Australian Seeds Authority and is the principle consultant with his own consulting firm – Bill Fuller Consulting.
Previously CEO of the Australian Seed Federation, Bill has also held sales and marketing management roles for leading Australian pasture seed and fertiliser companies.

MARGARET STAMATIS
Domestic Sales & Export Manager
Margaret is responsible for customer service and administration, including quotes, domestic and export market sales, order processing and seed sourcing.
Having worked at AustraHort since 2007, she thoroughly enjoys the variety in her role and the relationships built with customers and seed collectors over the years.

AMANDA GIBSON
Procurement Manager
Amanda has been working for AustraHort since 2017 in sourcing and procurement.
Amanda’s background includes agricultural crop production, analysis and forecasting, and liaison with seed propagating nurseries and product trial companies.

Our History

More than 40 years supplying quality Australian native seeds

Supplying Glencore, BMA, Anglo American, Thiess Rehabilitation, Vitrinite, HL Landscapes, Lanyonscapes, Transcape Constructions, Evergreen Power Seeding, Top Gun Contracting, BAMA Services for mining & civil construction rehabilitation projects in QLD, NSW & NT. Working closely with other key partners including Verterra Ecological Engineering & Dendra Systems.

M L Farrar Pty Limited, International Seed Merchants founded in Nowra NSW by Michael & Sally Farrar.
Due to Mike’s experience and love of exporting, it isn’t long before this young company was annually exporting to about 50 countries.

M L Farrar Pty Limited merge with Queensland seed company – QHort, to gain a stronger footing in Queensland, and as a strategic move to better access mining companies & revegetation activities.
The new company, AustraHort Pty Limited grew from the merger.

AustraHort Pty Limited is sold to Cameron Clarke & Bill Fuller, as Mike retires.
AustraHort joins Australian Seed Federation.

Become a development partner with Australian Seeds Authority (ASA) & Trust Provenance in a seed traceability project to improve supply chain trust & integrity.

AustraHort enjoys significant growth & expansion in Civil Construction & Mining by focussing on customer service, technical support & product range availability.

Significant investment in seed mixer/bagger to reduce manual handling and improve product quality.
