Common Name:  Guava

Native to South Africa, this evergreen plant thrives in Mediterranean type climates in full sun/part shade.  It is very low maintenance and frost hardy.  The clumping habit of Asparagus meyeri makes it ideal for indoor pots and hanging baskets.

An evergreen/semi-deciduous shrub growing 1.5 x 1.5 m grows best in full sun in deep, well drained soils.  Punica granantum nana is frost hardy and low maintenance with a neat and compact form.  Flowers are orange/red colour, September to January, followed by fruit in March to May.
